I love to give gifts - as I assume most of you do. And handmade ones are the best.
My daughter recently moved out to the country from the city and decided she was going to raise chickens for the eggs (not to eat). So, with a pandemic on and shopping pretty much non-existent except for on line, I wanted to give her something for Mother's Day which was meaningful. Hence this little chicken coaster (I purchased the pattern on line from Annie's).
In our city, there was nowhere where I could purchase supplies - and I was not going to run out to shop - so I had to improvise......But I think it turned out kind of cute and she uses it all the time. I know there are flaws but that is how you learn, isn't it?
Please post any little gifts - or big ones you have quilted or sewn.
See you later.
